Whimsical

This couple wanted a combination of classic and off-beat elements in their wedding weekend. We welcomed our 125 guests with a concert and dessert reception on the grounds of Tanglewood on Friday night under the stars.

The next day, guests were transported to The Lenox Club for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Against the classic look of the club, the bride wore bright red, and carried a dramatic red and green gothic bouquet. The ceremony chairs were adorned with white paper cones with black velvet patterning, filled with red rose petals to throw. The swing near the ceremony was wound with bright red ribbons and huge brilliant sunflowers, whimsical and a little whacky, a perfect tribute to the bride and groom.

While guests enjoyed cocktails and live music on the veranda, the wedding couple played a game of croquet on the lawn. Dinner was served in the dining room, large sunflower centerpeices on the tables. After the wedding cake, decorated in red and orange blooms, was cut and served, the dj kicked off the dance portion of the evening, which didn’t let up for hours. A wonderful time was had by all!
